The Role Envo Talent is seeking a skilled Civils Project Manager to oversee civil works across a number of major HV projects, including installations and new connections at 33kV and 132kV. This is a key role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to ensure civil works are executed efficiently and safely. You will help shape the future of energy infrastructure while contributing to the growth of renewable energy and private network projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management : Act as the main point of contact for clients and internal colleagues related to civil works, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements. Project Planning : Define and manage project deliverables, tasks, and resource requirements for civil works, ensuring projects meet deadlines and client expectations. Team Coordination : Provide updates to the wider team on the progress of civil works, coordinating the work of technicians, craftspeople, and sub-contractors. Program Development : Develop and manage the programme of works for the timely and successful delivery of individual projects. Budget and Resource Management : Manage the project budget for civil works, ensuring cost control and efficient use of resources. Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure civil works comply with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe work environment. Quality Assurance : Conduct quality assurance inspections and audits on civil works to ensure they meet technical and performance standards. Sub-Contractor Management : Coordinate sub-contractor selection, engagement, and performance evaluation, ensuring high-quality results. Project Change Management : Manage project changes, capturing variations and ensuring they are reflected in project plans and budgets. What We Are Looking For: The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing civil works in construction or utilities environments, with a strong understanding of HV installations and connections. Ideal Candidate Requirements: Experience managing civil works within construction or utilities sectors. Experience working with private networks or in the renewable energy sector at 33kV and 132kV. Familiarity with current Health & Safety legislation. Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and sub-contractors. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
