DCS Engineering is currently recruiting for an experienced and highly motivated B1.3 Licensed Engineer to support rotary-wing maintenance operations at Oxford Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional aviation engineering environment working across a varied fleet of Helicopters platforms including AS350, EC130, EC135, EC145, H135, H145 and H160.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring continued airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness across multiple rotorcraft programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in accordance with UK CAA regulations and company procedures.
* Perform inspections, fault diagnosis, repairs, modifications, and component replacements on airframe, engine, transmission, and associated aircraft systems.
* Certify maintenance completed under Part 145 approvals and ensure all technical documentation is completed accurately.
* Conduct troubleshooting and rectification of mechanical and avionic systems, including replacement and testing of LRUs.
* Supervise and support maintenance technicians and fitters, ensuring work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.
* Support aircraft movement, hangar operations, tool control, and general engineering housekeeping activities.
* Maintain a strong safety culture whilst ensuring aircraft availability and operational reliability.
* Liaise effectively with customers, flight operations, and engineering management teams.
Candidate Requirements
* UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence.
* Strong technical knowledge of rotary-wing airframe and engine systems.
* Good working knowledge of UK CAA regulations including Part 145, Part M, and UK ANO requirements.
* Previous rotary-wing maintenance experience is desirable.
* Type ratings on Airbus Helicopters platforms advantageous; additional type training may be provided.
* Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented maintenance environment.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to engineering support.
* Eligible to obtain DBS Security Clearance and SC Clearance.
* Flexibility to travel within the UK and overseas when operationally required.
