Responsibilities
* Understand the principles of safe food handling to ensure all kitchen food preparations meet high hygiene standards.
* Contribute to team working, respond positively to colleagues, and action reasonable work instructions promptly.
* Advise on supply and quality of items used to carry out tasks, and ensure timely ordering of replacement goods.
* Act with respect for residents and their visitors, upholding the dignity and individuality of each resident.
About You

* Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
* Have knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
* Be an efficient worker with the ability to sustain a high level of physical effort and respond to a demanding workload.
* Demonstrate initiative and a positive, flexible approach to team working.
* Exhibit a caring and understanding attitude towards residents.
