Looking to change your job after the summer holidays – then come and work for The Ordinary Life Project Association (OLPA), a Wiltshire based charity providing housing and support options for people with learning disabilities and/or mental illnesses.
The Support Worker role: OLPA have a 3 bedded specialist service for people with a learning disability and dementia in Devizes, Wiltshire.
Responsibilities
* Providing support to three people in a lovely small, homely environment within the community
* Providing person-centred care and support, possibly through to end of life
* Providing stimulating and appropriate activities for people supported and accessing the community
* Enabling, where possible, the people to be part of the community
* Have the opportunity to be part of a new team and participate in the development of this new service
Qualifications and requirements
* No experience is necessary as OLPA will offer their Support Worker role with comprehensive training
* Employment in these posts is subject to two satisfactory references and an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service
