New Directions Education is currently recruiting a Trainee SEND Teaching Assistant to join a large, welcoming two-form entry primary school in Walton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
This role is ideal for individuals looking to begin or develop a career in education, particularly those who thrive in team-based environments and are committed to helping children achieve their full potential during the earliest stages of their learning journey.
About the School:
1. A large, inclusive two-form entry primary school in Walton.
2. A strong emphasis on early intervention, inclusion, and child-centred learning.
The Role:
3. Support children in the EYFS with a range of additional needs, both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
4. Assist with learning through play, early communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
The Ideal Candidate:

6. Happy to undergo an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service if required.
