We’re looking for an experienced Account Director to lead a portfolio of client relationships and help shape the next phase of Eleven’s growth. This role sits at the heart of the agency. You’ll own the strategic direction, growth and retention of key accounts, working closely with senior client stakeholders to deliver high-impact creative work that creates long-term value. You’ll lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects, contribute to new business activity, and support the development of our Client Services team through mentoring and line management. The role As an Account Director, you’ll build trusted partnerships with senior clients and act as their strategic lead. You’ll be responsible for commercial performance across your portfolio, ensuring work is delivered on brief, on time and on budget, while protecting quality and profitability. You’ll play a key role in agency growth. That includes identifying opportunities within existing accounts, leading proposals and pitches, and helping onboard new clients. You’ll also work closely with Strategy, Creative and Operations to ensure joined-up thinking and consistently strong delivery. Alongside this, you’ll support and develop members of the Client Services team, setting clear goals, giving constructive feedback and creating space for people to do their best work. Accountabilities This is what you are ultimately responsible for: Client Leadership: Lead a portfolio of client accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with senior client contacts. Client Satisfaction & Retention: Ensure high client satisfaction and long-term relationships across your portfolio. Commercial Performance: Achieve client revenue and profitability targets across your portfolio. Delivery Oversight: Ensure client projects are delivered on time, on budget and on brief. Business Information: Maintain accurate client and project data. Team Leadership: Mentor and line manage members of the Client Services team to perform at their best. Agency Growth: Drive the growth of your client accounts. Contribute to new business development and pitch activity. Thought Leadership & Marketing Content : Personally contribute content that elevates the agency’s reputation. Responsibilities This is what you are responsible for day-to-day: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client contacts. Develop strategic account plans and identify growth opportunities. Qualify, nurture and close client leads. Develop and approve proposals and pricing for client projects. Onboard new clients. Ensure client contracts are understood and adhered to within your accounts, proactively managing compliance with agreed terms and highlighting any risks or issues to protect Eleven’s commercial position. Lead client meetings and presentations. Lead delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Write and review project briefs. Select and coordinate internal and external resources. Maintain accurate client and project data. Garner client feedback. Collaborate with Strategy, Creative and Operations to ensure delivery quality. Mentor and line manage members of the Client Services team. Lead new business proposals and pitches (collaborating with the New Business Lead as required). Contribute content that elevates the agency’s reputation. Skills & Competencies These are the technical, behavioural and leadership skills needed to perform the role effectively. (Please note: The salary range for this role is £40,000 - £50,000). Hybrid working with flexibility to balance remote and office-based work. (Please note: This role will be required to work from our offices in Nantwich, Cheshire a minimum of two days per week). 25 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service, plus your birthday off. 3 days volunteering leave per year. 2 days training leave per year.
