We’re hiring a Design Engineer to design and deliver LV switchgear, MCCs, and complex industrial control panels within our Design & Systems – Manufacturing team.
As a Design Engineer, you will undertake the design, development, Estimating and documentation of Switchgear and control panels and ensuring designs meet client requirements, technical requirements within project timelines.
This role is based in Resolven, Neath and working within a very supportive, close team.
What you’ll do:
* Design LV switchboards, MCCs, and control panels using AutoCAD Electrical
* Produce schematics, layouts, wiring diagrams, and BOMs
* Specify PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, relays, sensors, and protection devices
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations
* Lead small projects and manage multiple design workstreams
* Support manufacturing and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
* Assist with estimations, quotations, and tenders

* Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems
* Able to manage multiple projects and work cross‑functionally
