The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Panel Design Engineer to lead complex control panel projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high standards across design, build, and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design of LV control panels to industry and client standards
* Mentor junior engineers and support team development
* Manage multiple design projects and resources
* Collaborate with clients and internal teams
* Oversee workshop build and commissioning support
* Ensure quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
* Produce detailed schematics and technical documentation
Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* 5+ years’ experience in industrial control panel design
* Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar
* Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, drives, and sensors
* Familiar with NEC, IEC, UL standards
* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
