A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a public services client based at their headquarters in Penrith. The role of Finance Assistant is an integral member of the team. The new appointee will provide financial and administrative support to the Financial Services and Treasury Management functions.
Reporting to the Financial Services Manager, you will join a well-established and qualified team.
1. Processing and management of the general ledger
2. Bank reconciliations
3. Management of the balance sheet control accounts
4. Posting daily journals
5. Processing credit notes
6. Assisting with budget management and year-end / audit
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous transactional accounting experience in a similar role
* Excellent IT and communication skills
* Team player, drive to complete tasks on a timely basis
What you'll get in return
* Salary £24,222-£28,653 (dependent on experience)
* Flexitime - Monday to Friday 7am -10pm
