Hazel Garth is a Dementia Care Home based in Knottingley. We support vulnerable adults who have a diagnosis of dementia and provide high levels of care to ensure residents have the best quality of life in their later years.
Role
We are recruiting a 16-hour Care Assistant to work alongside our experienced Dementia care staff. The position will help you gain invaluable skills to deliver person-centred care at every opportunity. The hours are on a rota basis and include weekends and bank holidays with enhanced rates of pay.
Responsibilities
* Work alongside experienced Dementia care staff to deliver person-centred care at every opportunity.
* Contribute to high standards of care to support residents’ quality of life.
* Participate in the induction programme and training; the organisation will fund the qualification on successful completion of the probation period.
Qualifications and Requirements
* If you don’t have essential qualifications, this position may still be suitable.
* DBS disclosure is required; a Disclosure Application Form will be completed and criminal conviction information provided.
* This post is subject to Fluency Duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016; demonstrate an appropriate level of fluency for the role.
* Probation: a six-month probationary period may apply (not for internal vacancies).
