Overview
We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our team in a key Legal Entity Controle team, supporting our Reinsurance division. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the division’s financial operations and reporting on an international scale. You will play a pivotal role in assisting with external financial reporting requirements, preparing statutory, board, and regulatory reports, and supporting the setup and maintenance of a centralised statutory adjustment ledger for our international entities. Additionally, you will collaborate with the wider Finance and Tax teams, coordinate audit processes, and provide technical expertise in analysing accounting differences between local GAAP and US GAAP. How you'll make an impact Assist in meeting external financial reporting requirements for our Reinsurance division Provide comprehensive support to external auditors in the UK and overseas, and coordinate the audit process as required to ensure smooth and timely completion Build and maintain srelationships with the wider Finance and Tax teams, as well as stakeholders across the Reinsurance division internationally Prepare statutory reports with precision, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards Prepare insightful and accurate board reports Prepare regulatory reports, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements Support the setup and ongoing maintenance of a centralised statutory adjustment ledger for overseas entities, ensuring consistency and accuracy Investigate and document accounting differences between local GAAP and US GAAP, providing clear insights Provide support for various ad-hoc projects About You Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CA/CIMA or equivalent) US GAAP & SOX experience advantageous Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
