We are looking for an engaging and energetic Year 4 Teacher to join a forward thinking school in the Wisbech area. The role is to begin in April 2026 but an earlier start may be possible for the right applicant. This role will continue until the end of the academic year, though there is a chance that it may continue beyond then and become a permanent role. The class size is around 25 children and has the support of an experienced teaching assistant in class. This role has arisen due to an internal promotion. Key Responsibilities Help create a positive and comfortable environment for the class, whilst also monitoring classroom management and assisting with behaviour support Be able to adapt and adjust various activities and experiences in order to match the abilities of each class member Be responsible for a class of Year 4 children, showing respect and care for each student whilst also showing a good level of tolerance Requirements Hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) within the UK Have recent experience working within a Primary School, preferably teaching at key stage 2 level Have strong team-working and communication skills in order to work efficiently and effectively with a wider team Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
