TEN GRAND™ seeks a Co‑Founder (Fashion & Product Innovation) to partner at founder level, defining the product vision, leading the innovation pipeline, and translating the brand’s philosophy into refined staples for the modern wearer.
The Role: Co‑Founder (Fashion & Product Innovation)
This is a full-time, hybrid role for the Co‑Founder of Fashion & Product Innovation, based in Greater London with flexibility for remote work.
The Co-Founder will lead the oversight of product design, fashion innovation, and operational systems while aligning with the brand's vision and values. Responsibilities include driving product development strategies, conducting market research for trend forecasting, collaborating across teams to ensure consistent brand execution, and optimising the end-to-end supply and retail framework. The role also involves actively contributing to the brand's commercial strategy and providing leadership for innovative growth initiatives.
* Define and maintain the long‑term product vision and collection roadmap in line with the brand’s positioning and commercial strategy.
* Lead ideation, silhouette development, and material innovation for core and seasonal lines, with an emphasis on modular collection building rather than trend‑driven drops.
* Build and own the product development process: tech packs, sampling, fittings, approvals, and the transition from prototype to production‑ready garments.
* Research and source fabrics, trims, and manufacturing partners that support quality, responsible production, and consistent, repeatable standards.
* Set and protect product standards on fit, construction, and finishing, using structured testing and wearer feedback loops.
* Work closely with brand, e‑commerce, and storytelling to ensure product architecture, naming, and launches are coherent across channels.
* Use data and qualitative insight to refine the range: identify repeatable heroes, rationalise SKUs, and iterate into depth rather than unnecessary breadth.
* Design and refine systems (calendars, documentation, libraries, BOMs) that allow the product function to scale beyond the founding team.
* Contribute as a full co‑founder to broader company building: hiring product talent, shaping culture, and participating in strategic decisions and investor conversations.
Essential Experience:
* 6+ years in fashion product development, design, or technical development, with ownership from concept through production.
* Proven track record delivering refined, minimally branded product where cut, fabric, and construction carry the brand story.
* First‑hand experience working with manufacturers: communicating specs, resolving issues, and protecting quality under real‑world constraints.
* Strong understanding of margin, cost engineering, and how to design into a commercially viable range architecture.
* Ability to work in an early‑stage, resource‑lean environment: hands‑on, self‑directed, comfortable wearing multiple hats.
* Organised, systems‑oriented working style: you document decisions, build libraries, and treat process as part of the creative toolkit.
* Deep interest in sustainability, durability, and “buy less, buy better” product thinking, even when not overtly marketed.
This is a co‑founder position, treated as a true partnership rather than a standard hire. The package will include a meaningful equity stake, with details shaped around the right person’s experience, commitment level, and contribution to building TEN GRAND™ over the next decade.
