Job Title: CAD Designer - SolidWorks
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
KO2s client, a leader in the manufacture of high-quality electronic machines used around the globe is seeking a CAD Designer to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CAD designer who is strong with SolidWorks who is looking to work closely within a small design team and have an impact in future product developments and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop design concepts from artistic impression through to CNC programming for manufacturing
Convert legacy 2D drawings to SolidWorks models
Create CNC router programming data for production of component parts
Translate CAD designs into effective CNC programs
Produce detailed product specifications and technical data to support Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain
Collaborate with Technical Services to develop solutions for installation and presentation of new/updated hardware
Generate BOMs and documentation to support commercial functions
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with SolidWorks, with CAD and CAM skills
Working knowledge of electrical/electronic design interfaces is beneficial
