Job Title: Compliance Assurance Manager – Statutory & Technical Assurance
PRS are partnered with a private security company who are looking for a Head of Compliance who will lead a specialist team dedicated to providing objective verification and audit of all technical and engineering compliance obligations across their building and M&E infrastructure.

Role Overview
You will shape and deliver our compliance assurance strategy, lead a high-performing team, and ensure robust audit and assurance practices across statutory disciplines. You'll also take direct responsibility for compliance assurance on a designated key account, working closely with operational teams and the client.
What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership
* Develop and maintain a company-wide compliance assurance framework aligned with legal requirements and business goals.
* Lead, mentor, and grow the Compliance Assurance team, setting standards of objectivity and technical excellence.
* Drive the national risk-based audit programme to deliver consistent, high-quality assurance outcomes.
* Produce clear, insightful compliance reporting and dashboards for senior leadership.
* Serve as the internal expert on statutory compliance interpretation and assurance.
Key Account Compliance
* Lead and perform compliance audits for a designated key account, ensuring contractual and statutory obligations are met.
* Verify compliance evidence (e.g., safety certificates, inspections, maintenance records).
* Identify and manage non-conformances and oversee corrective actions through to closure.
* Act as the primary assurance contact for the account's operational team and, where required, the client.
* Produce detailed performance reports and KPIs for the key account.

Who You Are
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Proven senior experience in statutory compliance or technical assurance, ideally within Facilities Management or similar high-risk environments.
* Strong knowledge of statutory requirements including gas safety, electrical compliance, fire safety, water hygiene (L8), LOLER, PUWER, and related standards.
* Preferably from a Mechanical or Electrical engineering background.
