Performance Manager
Location: Brighton
What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Performance Manager to join Southern Water, a Galliford Try business. The Performance Manager will ensure compliance with the Framework Key Performance Indicators of the Southern Framework.
* Lead by example to promote high standards of HS&E&Q at all times
* Collaborate with the HS&E team to foster positive cultures and behaviors
* Build relationships with the supply chain to ensure understanding and exceeding of KPIs
* Encourage strategic thinking in developing new approaches and solving problems to improve KPI performance
* Provide leadership and promote professional standards and best practices
* Work with and influence other leaders to develop best practices and continuous improvement
* Align project delivery with the Client’s vision
* Build trust with clients, customers, and stakeholders, acting on feedback
* Promote innovation for operational efficiencies
* Provide training and guidance to meet KPI targets
* Manage resources and relationships for KPI delivery
* Analyze performance data and implement improvement plans
* Collaborate with Heads of Delivery and Operational Leaders
About You:
* Proven experience in staff development and employee relations
* Strategic planning and change management skills
* Excellent HS&E&Q performance record
* Experience in engineering construction is advantageous
* Accountability for business unit performance
* Effective in facilitating meetings
* Timely issue resolution and escalation
* Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
* Ability to make autonomous decisions
* Degree qualification preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
