The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following:
1. Support the SHE Manager in the development and maintenance of the SHE management system (including objectives, processes, and assurance).
2. Provide competent and comprehensive SHE advice and support to Shift Leaders within the site, enabling them to effectively manage SHE within their area of responsibility.
3. Support activities associated with improving SHE practice and performance within the site, including the deployment and implementation of SHE Policy, Management Systems, SHE objectives and targets, risk management and control, SHE performance reports, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
4. Support the development and implementation of innovative SHE change programs, ensuring consistency and effective improvement in SHE risk management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and sharing best practices.
5. Collaborate with key stakeholders, influencing them to consider SHE factors during decision-making.
6. Maintain regular communication with Safety Representatives and provide assurance of compliance with legal and operational standards.
7. Manage Risk Management online databases and monitor the effectiveness of SHE initiatives, providing regular reports to the SHE Manager.

* Knowledge of SHE requirements, internal and external best practices.
* Ability to influence others to operationalize, integrate, and deliver SHE processes and projects, understanding business challenges and development plans.

* Strong influencing and collaboration skills across all levels of the business and externally, including with Manufacturing Managers, Safety Representatives, Employees, and Contractors.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).
