Part Time - 18 hours per week (weds, thurs, fri)
The Medical Education team are seeking a driven and proactive individual to provide administrative support to the Associate PG Dean (GP) and GP Education Manager in supporting the training requirements of GP medical education.
The successful candidate will work with the Medical Education deputies (GP & PGME) to ensure the delivery of effective GP & Post Graduate Education and will support the organisation of in‑house teaching programmes for GP/foundation doctors and internal medical trainees through liaison with relevant leads.
They will also oversee the administration of regional teaching days, working with Health Education SW and the Training Programme Directors (TPDs).
Main duties of the job
* To support the Medical Education Deputy Manager and GP Training Programme Manager to administer the department‑led post‑graduate and GP courses held both within the Trust and externally.
* Monitor and respond to queries from trainees in a timely and efficient manner. This may be face‑to‑face enquiries or via the relevant mailboxes.

* Provide administration support to the GP Training Manager and Deputy Post Graduate Manager.
* Engage with, and support the wider Academy administration team on the reception desk.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good level of education – 4 GCSEs or equivalent including English language.
* Diploma level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Experience – Essential
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook.
* Relevant experience of administrative or PA/Secretarial post.
* Experience of working in a busy environment.
* Experience of team working.
Experience – Desirable
* Experience of working in the NHS.
