Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Willingdon Community School are a nurturing and inclusive school and our team of Learning Support Professionals are key to supporting our students with achieving their potential.
The post will involve a combination of targeted work in our inclusion room with students who are hard to reach and present with challenging behaviours and in-class support across the curriculum with students within SEN.
The students will need support with literacy and numeracy, interpreting tasks and managing their behaviour. The post will require some knowledge of working with students in an educational setting and it will be useful to have experience of behaviour management and/or counselling skills. The successful applicant will show initiative and demonstrate that they have the tenacity to ensure that the students’ progress.
The appointed person will be joining a dynamic team in the Inclusion department.
