🕒 Full-time | Salary: £70,000 – £90,000
What you’ll be doing
* Develop and maintain Java-based systems across multiple businesses
* Gradually modernise legacy code, introducing cleaner architecture and better development practices
* Work closely with onshore and offshore teams to deliver secure, stable solutions
* Identify opportunities for introducing modern tools, frameworks and testing approaches
* Contribute to tech strategy and play a key role in shaping our future stack
* Support a secure and compliant development environment
What we’re looking for
* Solid Java development experience
* Comfortable working with and improving legacy codebases
* Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based systems
* Good communication skills and collaborative mindset
* Experience in (or interest in) regulated, secure software environments
* Bonus: leadership potential or interest in mentoring as we grow
