Finance Manager | High Wycombe | Up to £65,000 Bonus An established and privately owned business based in High Wycombe is seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to take ownership of its finance function across two entities.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company where finance is seen as a strategic partner to the business. The Role: This is a broad and hands-on finance role with full responsibility for financial operations, reporting, and strategic input. Key duties include: Leading monthly variance analysis and review meetings with stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with VAT, corporation tax, and other regulatory requirements. Liaising with external advisors and auditors. Improving financial reporting systems and processes. Preparing finance packs for Board meetings and supporting new business proposals. Managing cost centres and cross-charges across two companies. Overseeing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. Managing purchase ledger, supplier payments, sales ledger, and debtor control. Introducing forecasting and budgeting processes. Running month-end processes and maintaining financial controls. Conducting sales and revenue analysis and preparing cash flow forecasts. Submitting VAT returns and performing bank reconciliations. Preparing payroll data and year-end accounting files. Line managing an account assistant and providing cover when needed. Supporting ad-hoc finance tasks as required. We're looking for a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with strong post-qualification experience and a commercial mindset. You'll need: Experience with SAGE and strong IT literacy. A solid understanding of how commercial businesses operate. Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude. Confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
