Business Analyst – Transformation Location: West Bromwich – 2 days per week in office (Tuesday & Wednesday) Contract: Inside IR35 Day Rate: £400 per day, negotiable Duration: 6 months initially, long term contract About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Transformation team, supporting key initiatives across core banking, CRM, mobile applications, and in-branch capability delivery. This is an opportunity to work on a broad transformation programme — not just digital channels, but the full customer journey, including branch solutions, teller capability, and integrated customer identification and transaction systems. You’ll work closely with Product Owners to define business outcomes, features, and high-level epics, ensuring requirements are captured and delivered effectively within an agile framework. What You’ll Be Doing Partner with Product Owners to shape and document business outcomes, features, and epics aligned to strategic goals. Define success criteria and measure outcomes to validate delivery. Create high-level process maps and operational flows to support solution design. Apply agile BA practices, helping teams refine backlogs, prioritise (MoSCoW), and deliver iteratively. Support delivery of solutions across mobile, CRM, core banking, and branch channels, ensuring integration across customer touchpoints. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, product managers, and transformation leaders to bring ideas to life. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Business Analyst within transformation or digital change programmes (financial services experience beneficial but not essential). Strong understanding of agile delivery – epics, features, user stories, and sprint planning. Ability to define measurable outcomes and success criteria. Skilled in high-level process mapping and requirements documentation. Experience using frameworks such as MoSCoW prioritisation and working within agile delivery teams.
