What you'll do at work:
Duties include:
* Shampooing clients hair
* Assisting and observing stylists
* When a certain level of skill and understanding has been gained, the tasks will gradually increase to things like applying colours, blow drying, styling etc.
* Advising clients on shampoos, conditioners and treatments
* Greeting clients
* Making refreshments
* Maintaining a clean working environment

Training
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
Requirements
Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
* English (grade 4)
* Maths (grade 4)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements
