Park School is seeking skilled, compassionate and dynamic Teaching & Learning Assistants to join our team from September 2026. We are looking for both full time and part time staff who can work relationally and responsively with children across the school, supporting a rich layer of provision for pupils with a range of neurodiversity needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, sensory processing differences and anxiety‑based presentations. Experience in alternative, therapeutic or relational settings is highly valued.
One of these roles will involve working directly with an autistic child, and we are specifically seeking a candidate with strong training and experience in autism, alongside a deeply attuned, relational approach to work with a fantastic young learner in upper Key Stage 2 with an EHCP.
We welcome applications from candidates qualified to Level 3 with experience working in primary settings, supporting learning 1:1 and in small groups. We are looking for:

5. Understanding and experience of supporting children with SEND, especially autism

As a Teaching & Learning Assistant at Park, you will:
8. work dynamically in classrooms to support high‑quality teaching and learning
9. provide 1:1 relational support, including a dedicated role supporting a Autistic child
10. implement sensory, regulation and communication strategies in partnership with teachers and the SENDCo
11. support children using attuned, co‑regulating, neurodiversity‑affirming approaches, working towards individual targets in line with their EHCP
12. contribute to ILPs and provision planning
13. work collaboratively with our SEND team to ensure children feel safe, understood and able to learn
