Role overview
Motor Transport Driver at Bovington, near Wareham, Dorset. This is a zero hours contract with hours offered on an as-needed basis depending on operational requirements. Compensation: £13.22 per hour plus benefits.
Responsibilities
* Driving Land Rovers and trailers for deliveries, collections, and radio exercises
* Carrying out maintenance tasks as specified in Level 1 publications
* Supporting vehicle preparation including cleaning, washing, and refuelling
* Assisting customers while equipment is on charge
* Performing general driving duties and washdown operations
Day-to-day you’ll be at the heart of our mission-critical logistics operations, supporting the delivery and collection of equipment and personnel across various locations. This is a dynamic and hands-on role where your driving skills will contribute to the success of military training exercises and operational readiness.
Essential experience
* Military driving experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided
Qualifications
* Full UK Driving Licence
Security clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Some positions may be subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. Details at GOV.UK.
