The Opportunity
A well:established environmental consultancy with a strong presence in the South East is looking for a Graduate Environmental Engineer to join their specialist remediation team in Kent.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands:on experience delivering remediation solutions on contaminated land projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. Youll be working closely with experienced engineers and geologists, gaining exposure to both site and office:based work from day one.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the design and implementation of remediation strategies
* Assisting with site investigations and supervising remediation works
* Soil and groundwater sampling and logging
* Monitoring remediation systems (e.g. bioremediation, soil stabilisation, validation testing)
* Preparing verification and validation reports
* Assisting with risk assessments and environmental data interpretation
* Liaising with contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies
Requirements
* Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or similar
* Strong interest in contaminated land and remediation
* Willingness to work on:site across Kent and the South East
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
Desirable
* MSc in Contaminated Land, Hydrogeology, or related field
* Previous internship or placement within environmental consultancy or ground investigation
* Basic understanding of UK guidance (e.g. CLR11, BS10175)
