About the Role
The Commercial Property Solicitor or Legal Executive will join a busy and well-established property department, managing their own caseload with support from experienced colleagues. The job will offer a variety of commercial property matters and exposure to interesting client work, supported by the latest legal tech systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Handling a broad range of commercial property transactions including leases, licences, transfers, sales and purchases
* Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and Companies House registrations
* Maintaining and progressing files from instruction to post-completion
* Liaising directly with clients, agents, referrers, and lenders
* Ensuring all compliance, AML, and ID procedures are followed
About You
You'll be a Solicitor or Legal Executive, ideally with 1-4 years experience in commercial property and able to manage your own caseload with confidence and support. You'll emnjoy working collaboratively and be committed to excellent client care. You will also be able to demonstrate:
* Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small, supportive team
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Experience using case management systems
* A proactive approach to managing files and client relationships
* Trustworthiness and professionalism in all interactions
