Lets cut to the chase. This is a Senior Procurement role. A proper one. Not the kind where you inherit a broken spreadsheet and an inbox full of supplier excuses- but the kind where youre actually trusted to shape procurement across a multi-site, multi-entity operation. The business is growing. Fast. Which means procurement isnt just about shaving pennies- its about unlocking real value, managing risk, and delivering cost savings that actually stick. Theres a target on the table: £200k net annual savings. Achievable. But only if you know how to challenge, negotiate, and restructure supply arrangements without leaving scorched earth behind. Youll need to be strategic and operational. Able to zoom out and design procurement frameworks, then zoom back in to sort the detail and build trust with suppliers and internal teams alike. Youll be doing things like: Building supplier partnerships, not dependencies Analysing spend, launching tenders, tightening contracts, and extracting value Supporting Capex projects and driving continuous improvement Reporting directly to the Finance Director and board Who were looking for: Youve led procurement in a multi-site, product-driven environment You get strategy, but dont mind rolling your sleeves up either Youve got the kind of negotiation skills that make suppliers think twice (and then say yes) You know your way around contracts, SLAs, rebates and risk Youve delivered real savings- and can prove it MCIPS? Great. Sector experience? Nice to have, not a deal breaker Whats in it for you: The freedom to shape a group-wide procurement strategy Influence at board level A collaborative, values-led culture that encourages challenge, ownership and curiosity A solid salary, plus benefits This role isnt for everyone. Its for someone who knows how procurement can drive commercial performance- and wants the autonomy to prove it. If thats you, lets talk.
