Document Controller
Location: Inverness

Working Pattern: Office-based with hybrid working available following successful completion of the probationary period
A well-established civil engineering contractor is looking to recruit a Document Controller to join their Inverness team on a permanent basis. Working as part of a small and supportive team, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop within a busy infrastructure environment.
You will support the wider document control function across multiple live projects, working closely with experienced Document Controllers, site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure project documentation is accurately managed and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage project documentation within the Common Data Environment (CDE)
Ensure documents are correctly filed, version-controlled, and issued in line with company procedures
Support document tracking, submissions, approvals, and audits
Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants regarding documentation requirements
Assist with QA records, project handover documentation, and O&M manuals
About You
Previous experience in a Document Controller or project administration role, ideally within construction or civil engineering
Experience using ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) would be highly advantageous
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment
