Education and Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. BSc Nursing or Equivalent with current
2. NMC registration
Desirable criteria
3. Postgraduate qualification in Radiology or Interventional radiology
4. Teaching and assessment training/qualification
5. Leadership and management training/qualification
Knowledge and experience
Essential criteria
6. Significant experience as a band 5 or 6 nurse,
7. Experience of teaching, supervising and assessing students, new or junior members of staff
8. Knowledge of procedures undertaken within Interventional Radiology
9. Knowledge and experience of caring for sedated patients
10. Knowledge of Clinical Governance
Desirable criteria
11. Experience of working in Radiology, Theatres or Endoscopy
12. Experience within the Diverse environment
13. Awareness of health and safety including IRR and IRMER regulations

14. Advance communication and organisational skills
15. Ability to prioritise and lead a team
