We're looking for a Health & Safety Technical Report Specialist to join our dynamic client and play a key role in promoting safety excellence across lifting operations. Responsibilities Compile and review detailed technical reports using your own research. Support the development and implementation of risk assessments, lifting plans and method statements (RAMS). Conduct safety reviews, incident investigations, and root cause analyses. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (LOLER, PUWER, HSE, ISO standards). Liaise with engineers, lifting supervisors, and safety officers to gather accurate field data. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practices within the lifting and construction sectors. Qualifications Proven experience in a health and safety role or similar position is essential. Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, fostering collaboration across departments. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a health & safety or technical reporting role within the lifting, construction, or heavy engineering sectors. Strong understanding of lifting operations and associated legislation (LOLER, PUWER). Excellent written communication and reporting skills. NEBOSH / IOSH certification or equivalent H&S qualifications preferred. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, lifting plans, and inspection data.
