Overview
Working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse who delegates tasks to the post holder, the Healthcare Assistant (HCA) will deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients as part of a team. The HCA is responsible for their own practice within defined limits of competence and the scope of the role, while the registered nurse retains accountability for the care delivered.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality nursing care to patients under the direction of the registered nurse.
* Work within the defined limits of competence and scope of the role.
* Collaborate closely with the registered nurse and other team members.
Eligibility and Requirements
* Recent experience providing hands‑on care in a regulated health or social care setting such as a hospital, care home or nursing home.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work well within a team as well as individually.
* Hard‑working, compassionate and passionate about caring for the client group.
Schedule

Training and Support
Applicants will receive clinical training and daily supervision from trained staff to perform safely, confidently and competently. The trust will provide opportunities and support for future career pathways and development.
