Salary:
* Unqualified: £33,349.58 (including sleep-in shifts)
* Qualified (Level 3/4): Up to £35,935.36 (including sleep-in shifts)
Hours: Shift pattern on rotation

Your Role
We are seeking passionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in Dorchester. You will play a vital role in delivering personalized care packages tailored to the unique needs of each child and young adult. As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will receive training in Developmental Trauma and therapeutic parenting, empowering you to provide the best support possible.
Main Responsibilities
* Work with children and young people, understanding the challenges they face.
* Be flexible with your availability, working 7 x 24-hour shifts (including sleep-ins) over a 3-week rotation.
* Promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of our young people.
* Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships.
* Collaborate effectively as part of a team, accepting guidance and direction.
* Encourage the development of individual interests among our young people.
Requirements
* Experience working with children and young people.
* Hold or be willing to work towards a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma, NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent.
* Possess a full UK driving license and access to a car for travel.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
* Be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us).
* Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is a plus.
