CNC Turner (Setter / Operator) West Bromwich B70 4 Day Working Week Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 4:00pm My client is a specialist manufacturer of roll tooling, providing reliable subcontract machining services across the West Midlands and throughout Europe. They deliver complete end-to-end and turnkey machining solutions, alongside a nationwide 24/7 breakdown service and in-house machining for tubes and sections. They are looking to recruit a CNC Turner on a permanent basis to join a small, close-knit team of 78 staff. This is a hands-on role focused on setting and operating CNC lathes in a precision manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Set and operate CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls 2. Set tooling, offsets, and prove out programs 3. Produce components from engineering drawings to tight tolerances 4. Operate CNC lathes with C and Y axis capability (desirable) 5. Carry out basic program edits at the machine 6. Monitor machining processes and maintain quality standards 7. Inspect components using appropriate measuring equipment 8.
