With continuous innovation at the heart of its operations, the company is expanding its logistics infrastructure across the UK and Ireland. We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on On-Site Project Coordinator to serve as the primary Field Engineering point of contact during the deployment of automation and engineering solutions (e.g., Matrix, ADTFs, ADTAs, ASLs, Tippers, retrofits). This role is pivotal in supporting both greenfield launches and retrofits in existing delivery stations across the UK and Ireland. Main responsibilities: Project Planning: Conduct field verification of engineering drawings and identify clashes with existing or planned equipment. Initiate MCMs (Material Change Management) for project phases; follow through on approvals and address stakeholder concerns pre-deployment. Project Execution: Lead daily coordination calls with vendors, Operations, WHS (Workplace Health & Safety), and RME (Reliability, Maintenance Engineering); provide daily status updates to UK Field Engineering PM. Conduct regular site visits to monitor installation progress and collect stakeholder feedback. Escalate issues to the UK FE PM as needed. Receive, inventory, and verify materials ordered by AMZL (e.g., signage, racking, SBL); coordinate logistics and labor for material handling and installation. Liaise with IT teams to manage access to IDF cabinets, oversee cable terminations, and validate network functionality. Project Closure: Collect and review vendor documentation for accuracy and compliance with requirements (e.g., Declaration of Conformity, site-specific identifiers). Ensure all documentation is transferred to the appropriate repositories (MyMHE, automation software storage drive, etc.). Qualifications: Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience managing medium-complexity engineering projects. Proficiency in project tools including AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel. Ability to work independently and coordinate across cross-functional teams in fast-paced deployment environments. Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively (75–100%) within the UK and Ireland.
