My client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team on a temporary basis until November in the Ascot area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and managing risks associated with site equipment, including updating electrical drawings, identifying critical spares, and enhancing maintenance programmes.
You will provide both electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, ensuring tasks are completed safely and accurately by writing and following risk assessments.
The role involves working on three-phase electrical systems up to V and performing maintenance on motors, gearboxes, valves, and other equipment. You will use mobile devices to manage and complete tasks via the CAFM maintenance system and liaise with onsite services to resolve building services-related issues. Ad hoc duties will also be required as part of the role.
Skills
Proven experience as a practising Electrical Engineer
Strong communication skills with client-facing experience
Ability to identify and manage risks related to electrical equipment
Competence in updating and maintaining electrical drawings
Experience working with three-phase systems up to V
Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, valves, and related mechanical equipment
Ability to write and follow risk assessments and safe working procedures
Proficient in using CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems
Ability to liaise effectively with onsite services and contractors
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently
Salary: £26 per hour (umbrella) or £20 per hour (PAYE)
