ENGIE UK is delighted to announce our 2025 Graduate Programme for Energy Management, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various disciplines within the energy sector while contributing to our mission of leading the transition to renewable energy.
About The Programme
Our graduate programme is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the energy management landscape at ENGIE. The role provides excellent development opportunities and is accountable for market analysis, business development, and preparation of various types of financial information for internal and external stakeholders. Graduates will have the opportunity to rotate through different departments including:
* Trading/Origination
* Global Market Analysis
* Back Office Finance.
Host departments may include Flex Gen Batteries, Renewable Gases UK and Business Development
Key Responsibilities
* Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to support business development and strategic decision-making.
* Business Development: Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the energy sector.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare and present various types of financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
* Project Collaboration: Work collaboratively with different departments, including Trading/Origination, Global Market Analysis, and Back Office Finance, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the energy management landscape.
* Continuous Improvement: Contribute knowledge and ideas towards the continuous improvement of processes and practices within the organisation.
Required Skills
* Research Skills: Demonstrate extensive research skills to gather and analyse relevant market data.
* Digital Savvy: Exhibit a strong understanding of digital tools and technologies, with a digital mindset and familiarity with agile ways of working.
* Financial Acumen: Possess a solid foundation in finance, with the ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines.
* Communication Skills: Display excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to engage clients and colleagues and convey complex topics to a non-technical audience.
* Problem-Solving: Show a collaborative and analytical approach to problem-solving, with a focus on delivering value and making informed decisions.
* Adaptability: Be receptive to change and demonstrate the ability to work across multiple areas of the business.
Qualifications
* Essential: A Masters degree in fields relating to Finance, Economics.
* Desired: Coding skills
