We are looking to introduce an in-house procurement function to support the organisation's procurement activity. The post holder will therefore manage and advise on the delivery of procurement activity up to £50k (total contract value) and work with South West Police Procurement Services to undertake specific category projects for larger and complex procurement. The post holder will liaise with officers and staff across the organisation to support and advise on procurement activity as well as supporting the Senior Finance & Commercial Business Partner to continually seek value for money, managing the procurement pipeline and contracts register, including risk and compliance management and working closely with Finance Business Partners assisting with budget setting and forecasting processes. The successful candidate for this role will be vetted at level Staff MV. This means the individual will need at least 5 years worth of residency in the UK.
