- £168 - £232 per day We are seeking a dynamic ICT Teacher to join our team at Secondary School, in South Cumbria. This role is perfect for a professional with a robust understanding of the ICT curriculum, effective communication skills, and a passion for fostering a technology-driven learning environment. Day-to-day of the role: Design and deliver engaging ICT lessons that integrate current technology and software tools. Develop lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students and adhere to curriculum standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new learning tools and software, integrating them into the classroom environment. Assess and evaluate students' progress in ICT and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning. Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and strategies, continually improving teaching practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching ICT at various educational levels. Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of information and communications technology. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students. Good interpersonal skills, demonstrating reliability, patience, and professionalism.
