Job Description
3. Deliver internal audits across operational, financial and compliance areas, ensuring risks are identified and controls are effectively evaluated
4. Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements where necessary.
5. Prepare detailed audit reports for senior management, outlining key findings and actionable recommendations.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies.
7. Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
8. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
9. Support external auditors during annual audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
10. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Internal Auditor should have:
11. Newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) from practice, ideally with audit or risk assurance experience.
12. Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex processes and identify control weaknesses.
13. Confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels and influence stakeholders constructively.
14. Curious, proactive, and commercially aware, with a genuine interest in understanding how a business operates.
15. Willing to travel occasionally to UK sites as part of the audit plan.
16. Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards
