Job Description
Ford's Commercial Vehicle team is expanding its Change Management capability across the V3 and V4 Transit platforms. We are seeking a Change Control Analyst to act as the primary link between UK-based functional teams and an offsite analyst group. This role will deliver change control and Bill of Materials (BoM) activities to program timing, ensuring accuracy, stability, and strong governance throughout vehicle development. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build effective relationships across a global organisation.
Responsibilities
* Act as the program change control expert for all BoM and change-related activities.
* Deliver strong performance in change throughput and BoM stability.
* Build effective working relationships with global engineering, purchasing, finance, and program teams.
* Lead and run Vehicle Line (VL) change control meetings.
* Coordinate with an offsite analyst team to ensure accurate and timely change management.
* Use data-driven insights to identify risks, highlight issues, and support program decision-making.
* Support delivery in high-pressure, launch-driven environments.
* Delegate, communicate, and escalate tasks effectively within a diverse and globally distributed team.
Qualifications
* Degree or relevant experience (engineering, data science, or related discipline desirable).
* Strong understanding of change control processes across the product development lifecycle.
* Experience working with global partners on program execution or delivery.
* Excellent knowledge of change control systems such as WERs, FEDE, and PDL.
* Confident communicator capable of engaging engineers, financial analysts, and senior leadership.
* High‑energy individual with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to motivate stakeholders.
* Strong analytical capability, with the ability to solve complex business challenges using data insights.
* Comfortable working in culturally and functionally diverse environments.

This position is based in Dunton, Essex and it is expected the successful candidate will be able to attend the Dunton Campus for typically 4 days a week and remain flexible on the days they are required to attend the office according to business requirements.
