Job Description:
This Multi-Strategy and Diversified Hedge Fund employs Low to Higher Frequency Strategies across global liquid markets including Equities, FX, Fixed Income, Commodities, and vanilla Derivatives (Futures and Options).
They are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst / Product Manager, with a background as a Data Engineer, Software Developer / Engineer, skilled in Python and SQL.
Indicative Package
Basic Salary ~£120k-£160k, based on skills and knowledge in Project / Product Management, Business Analysis, Technical Acumen, and Markets / Asset class knowledge.
Hybrid work arrangement - 2 days WFH, plus full benefits.
Responsibilities:
* Capture requirements directly from Quant Research, Trading, and Risk teams.
* Manage full lifecycle Business Analysis for Front and Middle office technology projects, including Big Data, ML/DL tech, Low Latency Market Connectivity, Market Data, OMS, Analytics, and Risk solutions.
* Structure and scope requirements into technical projects.
* Define project scope, goals, stakeholders, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
* Design end-to-end solutions, propose implementation options, and provide evaluations and recommendations.
* Drive product design, including functional and technical architecture.
* Mentorship opportunity with industry veterans in a collaborative environment.
* Develop deep knowledge in Cross-Asset and Market Microstructures.
* Work on strategic, high-profile technology initiatives.
* Potential for future internal mobility to NAM or APAC regions.
Mandatory Skills and Experience:
* Fluency in English.
* Minimum 5 years' post-Bachelor’s/Master’s STEM experience.
* At least 4 years in Business Analysis / Project/Product Management roles delivering Front & Middle Office technology projects at a Fund, Investment Manager, Investment Bank, or FinTech.
* Minimum 1 year as a Data / Software Engineer, Technical Architect, or Quant Developer.
* Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Calm, detailed-oriented, and collaborative approach.
* Current understanding of at least one (preferably two) of the following asset classes: Equities, FX, Fixed Income, Credit, Commodities, or Derivatives.
