MET Technician
Location: Nuneaton
Salary: £37500- £52,000 OTE (including bonus, dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced MET Technician to join a highly reputable and expanding repair group. You’ll play a key role in dismantling, assessing, and reassembling damaged vehicles to manufacturer and insurance standards. You’ll also be part of a team that values high quality, teamwork, and professional development.
Key Duties of the MET Technician Role:
Dismantling and rebuilding damaged vehicles in line with job cards and repair estimates
Following manufacturer repair methods and internal quality checks
Supervising and supporting non-qualified technicians where needed
Reporting any additional damage or repairs required to the Estimator
Checking parts ordered against estimates and returning any unused items for credit
Adhering to Health & Safety regulations and workshop policies
What You’ll Need:
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a MET Technician
ATA accreditation is preferred (not essential)
Experience working within a busy accident repair centre or bodyshop
Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
Ability to work independently and support others as needed
