Radiology Assistant – Ultrasound Departments
Working within the ultrasound departments at University Hospital Coventry, Hospital of St Cross and City of Coventry Health Centre. Providing support to patients and clinical staff.
Shift Pattern
Shift pattern over a 7-day week (Sun - Sat).
Responsibilities
* Assist with patient care before, during and after imaging examinations.
* Coordinate the movement of inpatients with porters.
* Clean scan rooms and manage stock control.
* Provide support to a variety of staff groups including Consultants, Nurses and Sonographers within the General Ultrasound Department.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Enjoy working with people and have a genuine interest in patient care.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently using initiative.
* Provide an immunisation and vaccination report from a UK occupational health provider or GP.
