Job Description
1. Providing security architecture frameworks and guidance to project teams and SMEs during design and implementation phases, reviewing updates, new designs, and supporting incident investigations in compliance with the client's architectural framework.
2. Architect solutions and technically lead their implementation in accordance with the client-approved architectural framework.
3. Work closely with the customer’s architecture team to develop solutions.
4. Technically lead security projects, ensuring that the customer’s security requirements are met and clearly mapped within the architectural framework.
5. Provide assistance and support on architectural/technical issues to team members, sharing technical knowledge and experiences.
6. Gain and maintain knowledge of the DXC Portfolio of Security Products and Services, promoting this with the customer and encouraging best-fit solutions.
7. Continuously review and enhance knowledge of security controls and monitoring technologies.
8. Provide consultancy skills and a proactive approach to gain customer trust.
9. Support and mentor team members to develop skills and capabilities.
Experience
1. Extensive Enterprise/Cloud Security Architecture experience with at least 10 years in Enterprise and/or 5 years in Cloud environments.
2. Experience working with MoD and HMG clients to capture requirements and develop solutions.
3. Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, including within Agile delivery environments.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Experience in developing and implementing Enterprise Security Strategies.
6. Proficiency in defining and implementing security architectures within frameworks like TOGAF.
7. Knowledge of standards and legislation such as PCI DSS, COBIT, SOX, DPA, HMG SPF, JSP 440, CESG IA Portfolio, ISO27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework.
8. Experience designing and deploying security solutions in multi-supplier/multi-platform environments.
9. Understanding of threat and risk analysis methodologies.
10. Experience with cloud security requirements capture, definition, and implementation.
11. Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate resilience.
12. Customer-focused mindset with effective expectation management.
