Sewell Wallis is looking for a financial controller for a well-known FMCG organisation based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. This role will be a key part of the senior leadership team and will work closely with the site manager. Your main responsibilities will involve strengthening financial controls, developing KPI's to increase efficient working.
This Financial Controller role will suit a qualified accountant who is technically very strong and able to communicate with the whole business, from the shop floor to the board.
What will you be doing?
Be a key member of the senior leadership team, helping to develop direct reports and shop floor teams
Drive site objectives and implement key KPI's to help achieve targets
Provide key analysis on KPI's to help prioritise improvement projects and reduce factory wastage
Lead planning, budgeting and forecasting for the site and report to the board
Business partner across multiple sites
Implement new ERP systemWhat skills are we looking for?
Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CA) with strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
Strong FMCG or manufacturing experience (understanding inventory processes, variance analysis and ability to translate to wider teams).
Experience leading planning and managing complex budgets.
ERP system implementation and integrating systems.
A strong, capable leader who has a track record a mentoring across all levels.
Audit experience is advantageous. What's on offer?
Basic salary from £75,000- £85,000
