HEAD OF Learning. Required for September 2026. Permanent, Full Time. Salary: MPR1 - UPR3 (£32,916 - £51,048 per annum) plus TLR2B (£6,066 per annum).

Birches Head Academy is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and highly committed Teacher, and Head of Learning, to join our team and help ensure our students receive a world-class education, enabling each child to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Learning department and contribute to the strategic direction of teaching and learning across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Be an outstanding practitioner with a proven track record of successful outcomes and delivery on plans.
* Teach with enthusiasm and vision, and be passionate about your subject and teaching and learning research and practice.
* Support and develop colleagues to improve teaching quality and student outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Proven ability to deliver high-quality learning and plans that translate into outcomes.
* Innovative and reflective practitioner with commitment to professional development.
