Humanities Teacher | Thurrock
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our successful secondary school in Thurrock. The successful Humanities Teacher will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 through engaging and high-quality Humanities lessons. The Humanities Teacher will support students in developing a deeper understanding of history, geography, and society while encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and discussion. Our school is looking for a motivated Humanities Teacher who is committed to delivering excellent education and supporting students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons as a Humanities Teacher across KS3 and KS4.
Teach Humanities subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Education as a dedicated Humanities Teacher .
Monitor and assess student progress in the role of Humanities Teacher and provide constructive feedback.
Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment as a responsible Humanities Teacher .
Work collaboratively with other staff and contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum as a proactive Humanities Teacher .
Participate in school activities, trips, and enrichment opportunities as an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher .
Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
A degree in History, Geography, or a related subject suitable for a Humanities Teacher .
Strong communication and classroom management skills expected of a Humanities Teacher .
A genuine passion for teaching and learning as a committed Humanities Teacher .
