SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER – WATER TREATMENT | LLANTRISANT Salary: £35,000 basic Bonus: 8% annual bonus Benefits: Excellent benefits career development Location: Llantrisant, Wales We’re looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join a fast-paced supply chain team supporting a growing water treatment and life sciences manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their supply chain career who enjoys working with data, collaborating across teams, and improving planning processes. THE COMPANY • A global organisation operating within the water treatment and life sciences sector • Known for investing heavily in employee development and long-term careers • A collaborative and fast-moving supply chain environment • Strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence • A business with advanced systems, tools, and technology to support success THE JOB • Collaborate with supply planning, demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, sales, and marketing teams • Support the development and execution of supply strategies based on demand and operational requirements • Maintain and update key planning data within the ERP system • Analyse planning performance and support reporting for leadership teams • Contribute to the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process • Use data to improve planning performance including schedule adherence, on-time delivery, and inventory optimisation • Support continuous improvement initiatives and supply chain projects • Produce reports and planning KPIs to support business decisions THE IDEAL CANDIDATE • Degree in supply chain, business, engineering, science, or a related field • Around 1–3 years of experience in a supply chain or planning role • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data and identify improvements • Experience with planning systems such as SAP or similar ERP tools • Strong Excel skills (Power BI experience would be advantageous) • Curious mindset with the confidence to challenge processes and drive improvements • Professional certifications such as APICS are beneficial or a willingness to obtain THE OPPORTUNITY • Join a collaborative supply chain team within a global organisation • Exposure to multiple areas of supply chain operations • Opportunity to work in a fast-growing, innovative industry • Clear development pathways and long-term career opportunities THE PROCESS Click apply now or contact JS Selection for more information.
