The primary function of the Healthcare Development Manager in Advanced Wound Care is to accelerate the clinical and economic adoption of Convatec brands in the acute & community sector. Through partnership working with multiple key stakeholders within the ICS’s & ICB’s, we are looking to improve access to the Convatec range via the production of care pathways and guidelines and the inclusion of brands on formularies. Development of Health Economic packages & sales collateral to broaden funding for products in key therapeutic areas as well as supporting the inclusion of brands on formularies in the Community are key objectives.
This is a field based maternity cover for 12 months and the territory will Covering:
Birmingham and Solihull - Coventry and Warwickshire
What you can expect to focus on in this role:
1. Developing and delivering strategic account management plans to increase product usage in focus areas
2. Maximizing Convatec product access through formulary inclusion and guideline development in conjunction with Medical Affairs
3. Effective project management in designated/focus accounts, developing project team plans with local matrix teams
4. Developing solutions for ICB’s to maximize implementation and adoption of key growth brands
5. Identifying, engaging and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders & decision makers
6. Helping to accelerate adoption of new technologies by effectively shaping the local market
7. Producing and delivering business cases for Formulary listings
8. Initiating audits to gather prevalence data where appropriate
9. Managing local expense budget for best ROI
About You:
10. Your multi-role sales experience including direct selling, influencing and customer relationship management.
11. High standards approach delivering 100% sales performance on a consistent basis with a proven track record
12. Your ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret data from a variety of sources and through effective decision-making, planning and implementation delivering superior business results
13. Your appetite to lead projects and to set your own objectives
14. A mix of delivering against both the long and shorter term business goals
15. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to network both internally & externally
16. Excellent negotiation skills
17. An understanding of the structure, strategies and key priorities of the NHS and up-to-date NHS terminology
18. Experience of driving product access within the NHS (community or hospital) to drive demonstrable business growth
19. Experience of working with a wide range of specialist and culturally diverse people, influencing them to get things done.
20. Delivery of value-added business results even within tight deadlines.
21. Commercial acumen and financial accountability through managing budgets and resource planning
22. Good working IT knowledge (Microsoft software inc. Excel, PPT & Word ) & CRM experience.
This role is a maternity cover with a 12 months fixed-term contract.
