JOB PURPOSE
As Business Development Manager you will drive and develop new and existing business for the Resort & Spa in order to maximize revenues, build recognition and create long lastingprofessional partnership.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
* Proven track record within a pro-active sales environment
* Understanding of the Leisure Market
* Understanding of all-inclusive resort; spa retreat packages; luxury wedding packages, etc...
* Ability to build strong rapport with client and adapt to changes quickly
* Energetic, passionate and unpretentious individual who likes to think outside the box
* Functions best in a fast-paced environment, like challenges and gets stuff done
* Ability to connect with people and bring relations and work to the next level
* Personality: fun to be around, good manners, genuine, smart, professional
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Efficient in using Microsoft office and computer applications
* Hardworking, self-motivated and prepared to take a hands-on role;
* Attention to details
Work Related Experience
* Minimum 3 years within Sales in the Hotel / Hospitality or Leisure Travel industry market.
* Proven record of successful business development and sales increase
* Computer literate with experience of working with Excel, Word and Hospitality Systems
